Dr. Meghan Barrett is probably the best doctor I have ever seen in my life. She is not just knowledgeable and a great doctor but has many specialties for animals. Although acupuncture is considered an alternative medicine, it is a practice which has a proven scientific basis. It is an effective pain management tool and is a great treatment for neurological problems such as intervertebral disc disease, epilepsy and seizures, vestibular syndrome, spinal cord trauma, and lumbosacral disease.
Rehab therapy is similar to physical therapy (PT) in humans. We utilize contemporary modalities like PT exercises, manual therapy, E-stim, laser light therapy, magnetic field therapy, platelet rich plasma joint injections, and more to get your pet back on their paws after an injury or age-related decline.
